On the road, in parking lots, or outside supermarkets… It is almost impossible not to come across a Fiat Egea. As a favorite among families and a staple of corporate fleets, this model has become part of everyday life. However, beneath the car’s rather simple appearance lie several details that many drivers have either never discovered or simply overlooked.

Here are some of the hidden features of the Fiat Egea that often escape the attention of both drivers and even some owners:

1. Follow Me Home
You have parked your car, but it is dark outside and you need some light until you reach your front door. The Egea offers a practical solution for this. After turning off the engine, pull the high-beam lever toward you as if flashing the headlights within two minutes. This will keep the headlights on for up to 210 seconds. Each additional activation adds another 30 seconds to the lighting period.

2. Comfort Turn Signal
You do not have to push the turn-signal lever all the way when changing lanes. A gentle tap upward or downward for about half a second is enough. The system will automatically flash the signal five times and then switch it off.

3. A Softer Steering Wheel with City Mode
Do tight spaces or parking maneuvers make you nervous? Simply press the “City” button on the dashboard. This mode provides additional electric assistance to the steering system, allowing you to turn the wheel with considerably less effort.
